What surfing level should I have?

Q: Do I need prior surfing experience to join the surf camp?

A: Not at all! Our surf camp welcomes participants of all skill levels, including beginners. Whether you’ve never touched a surfboard before or are just starting out, we’re here to help you learn and enjoy the thrill of surfing. Our L1 and L2 surf lessons are specifically tailored for beginners, providing a solid foundation to get you started.

Q: What about intermediate and advanced surfers? Do you have something for us?

A: Absolutely! We offer tailored experiences for L3 intermediate and L4 advanced surfers. Our special surf guiding sessions take you on an adventure along the south coast, exploring surf spots from Galle to Hirikitya. We provide dedicated sessions for these skill levels to ensure you have the best experience possible. We are the only surf camp that offers Tuk Tuk guiding as well as surf guiding with our Jeep.

A: Our surf guiding sessions are led by experienced guides who know the island’s best surf spots. You’ll explore a variety of breaks, from hidden gems to well-known destinations. Our guides will share local knowledge, help you navigate the waves, and provide valuable tips to enhance your skills. Whether you’re an intermediate or advanced surfer, our sessions are designed to take your surfing to the next level.

What does a normal day look like?

Here’s an example itinerary for a standard day:

07:00am: Dawn Patrol Session

07.30 – 09.00: Breakfast, get packed and depart to surf spot

09.00: Surf Lesson/ Surf Guiding

12.00: Lunch break

13.00: Guided Surf Session

16.00: Surf Skate Session

17.30: Yoga Session

18.00: Happy Hour

19.00: Dinner

20.00: Movie Night and free popcorn

22.00: Bar Closed – Music off —> Time to party in town!

Note: this is an example day – Surf departure time, breakfast and scheduled sessions are per day different and we schedule them based on the forecast.

How to get here?

Arranged Airport Pick-Up (AGADIR REGION ONLY)

Pick-Up:
Free pick-up from Agadir for stays of 7+ nights. For shorter stays, pick-up is 30€ per car each way. Our chauffeur will meet you at customs with a sign displaying our logo or company name. If any issues arise, contact us immediately.

Pick-up service is available only in the Agadir region.

Marrakech Arrival:
From Marrakech Airport, you can either:
– Take a grand taxi (white/beige) for about 120€ one way.
– Take a bus (best option) for about 100DH/10€ from Marrakech bus station to Agadir bus station. Use Supra Tours or CTM buses.

We will pick you up from Agadir bus station. Contact us with your arrival time via SMS or WhatsApp. Note down our cell phone numbers!

Self-Arranged Transport

Taxi:
Direct your taxi to Tamraght Camping.
Fixed prices: Daytime: 350 DH / Nighttime: 400 DH.

Car Rental:
From the airport, follow signs to Agadir Centre Ville / Marrakech, then to Essaouira. Continue until you pass Tamraght on the way to Essaouira.
